ABOUT DANIE
Danie, an independent singer-songwriter and producer based in Toronto masterfully combines alternative indie/pop with soul. “Reminiscent of Rita Coolidge and Bonnie Raitt, you can’t help but be spellbound”, says Larry McClain from Two Story Melody, Nashville. Her music has graced notable venues, including Lula Lounge, Kensington Jazz Festival, and intimate city venues. With two singles featured on the hit series “Kim’s Convenience”, a debut EP gaining radio play, and a SOCAN Foundation, Canadian Songwriter of the Year award, Danie’s musical journey is just getting started. Taking Bookings for Live Gigs in the GTA
Currently taking bookings for live gigs in the Greater Toronto area. Danie's music is a moody mix of Indie Pop and R&B, well suited to cocktail lounges and intimate restaurant settings. Generally accompanied by a band (guitar, keys, and drums if space allows). If space is limited, Danie will use a backing track.
